Mandeep Sran
Mandeep is a founding director of Sran Whitfield Consulting.
She offers substantial experience of working within the legal sector, qualifying as a solicitor in 2009 and working at leading city and independent law firms before an eight-year career in legal publishing with Chambers & Partners.
Mandeep graduated in Law from SOAS, University of London, and completed the Legal Practice Course at the Nottingham Law School.
Mandeep is a fluent speaker of both Hindi and Punjabi and is a fluent reader and writer of Punjabi.

Peter Whitfield
Peter is a founding director of Sran Whitfield Consulting.
He previously served as an editor on the Chambers UK and USA guides. In addition to his work on Chambers UK and USA, Peter has also contributed extensively to other Chambers publications, including the Asia-Pacific, Global, UK Bar, Europe and Latin America guides.
Peter gained a Distinction in Philosophy MA at Birkbeck, University of London, a BA in English Literature from Newcastle University and has studied moral and political philosophy at doctoral level.

Richard Winter
Richard has a combined 15 years’ experience in the legal directories and marketing space.
He spent five years as a senior member of the Chambers & Partners research team, including as a deputy editor on the Chambers USA guide and as the company’s head of training for new researchers. After that, Richard spent six years as a senior pitches and marketing team member at a major international law firm.
Richard lives in Southern Ontario, Canada.

Jane Pasquali
Jane joined Sran Whitfield Consulting as a legal directories consultant in 2023. She had previously worked for 10 years at Chambers & Partners, most of which time was spent as a senior member of the USA/UK editorial team.
Jane’s additional professional experience includes working in the charity, finance and education sectors.
Jane graduated from the University of Exeter with a first class honours degree in Spanish and Italian in 2007, and has a postgraduate certificate of education in primary school teaching with Spanish.
Jane lives just outside of London with her young family, and is currently balancing work with childcare.

Chris Teevan
Chris has 15 years’ experience in the legal directories world, including six years as International Directories Manager at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He was previously a longstanding senior member of the research team at Chambers & Partners, which included more than six years as a deputy editor on Chambers USA. He subsequently worked at Jones Day, overseeing submissions to a variety of global publications and awards programmes.
Chris has a BA in English Literature from the University of Warwick and an MA in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway, University of London. He lives in Essex, UK, with his wife and daughter.

Joe Mosby
Joe has an impressive depth of experience in the legal directories field, with nearly 20 years’ experience in the legal directory, publishing and marketing sectors, including a number of years as editor of Chambers UK and in-house with two leading international law firms.
Joe has an MA in English Language and Literature from Newcastle University.

James Ager
With seven years’ combined experience on the Chambers UK and USA research teams, James is well-versed in the particulars of the legal directories ecosystem and brings the valuable perspective of a Research Associate.
James’ previous work includes a substantial body of written content, ranging from film reviews to genre fiction. He holds a BA in Modern Languages (with a focus on Spanish and Arabic) from the University of Durham. James currently lives in Cambridge, UK.

Alaina Khan
Alaina is a Legal Marketing Consultant at Sran Whitfield, and has a number of years’ experience assisting firms with their legal directory submissions — experience complemented by her time working as a legal services sector as a paralegal.
Alaina graduated in law from SOAS, University of London. She lives in London, United Kingdom.
Alaina is a fluent speaker of Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.

Stefan Corre
Stefan qualified and worked as a solicitor before joining the editorial team at Chambers & Partners for a number of years. His work at Chambers focused on the USA and UK guides, although he is also familiar with the other Chambers directories.
Stefan has experience editing thought leadership reports on corporate finance and macroeconomic topics.
