Spot the difference

Well done to all those sets outside London who got their Legal 500 UK Bar submissions in for Friday's deadline; next up on the bar side are the London deadlines on April 16. Many sets will be tempted to simply repackage their Chambers & Partners materials, but be careful! The two guides’ practice area definitions often differ in subtle but important ways, and what works for one directory will not necessarily work for another. Frustratingly, these differences aren’t always immediately apparent, but a bit of time and care at this stage of the process can pay real dividends for members’ rankings.
